Darren joined the QE Facilities Board in June 2024 and serves as Chair of the Performance Committee.
He brings extensive Board-level experience in business development, commercial strategy, governance and organisational performance. His executive career has been predominantly within the private sector, most recently as Head of Strategic and Business Intelligence at Esh Group, where he led work on customer service excellence, sustainability, carbon reduction and social value.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Darren has significant experience working with regulated organisations including the NHS, social housing providers, water companies and local authorities. He previously served on the Board of The Riverside Group, including as Chair of Riverside North and Chair of the Audit Committee, as well as a member of the Group Investment Committee and Group Neighbourhood Services Committee.
Alongside his role at QE Facilities, Darren is a Non-Executive Director at Wellness Walks, a national charity supporting people experiencing mental health challenges through guided walks, peer support and nature-based wellbeing activities.
